So it's 8:00 pm here in Germany (or 20:00 hours as they say in my world). We're well on our way to getting this site up, as we yogis are registering as authors in order to contribute. We'll make stylistic changes as we get on our way. Here's an initial post to get us started.
The idea of the site simply is a way for our spectacular community to remain a community after leaving Nosara. Anything goes in terms of sharing information, photos, life events, job postings, yoga flows, philosophy, whatever. It's just an on-line community for all of us. We'll make it up as we go along (fake it 'til you make it...).
I'm back in Germany. It's cold and rainy here, and I'm longing for one more opportunity to surf the Guiones waves. I miss everybody very much, even though I'm working on non-attachment. :-)
Speaking of non-attachment: my luggage is lost. Last night when it didn't show up on the baggage carousel I was non-plussed. I appreciated not having to carry it home with me on the train and was happy that Lufthansa would drive it to my door today. However, it never showed. Lufthansa reports that so far they are unable to locate it. On the one hand, I don't need the bikinis (it's 5-degrees Celsius here) and can live without the dirty yoga clothes. However, I really want the CD of Don chanting and would really like to have my yoga manual. So my mind is spinning through all of that when I receive an e-mail from Johnny. Johnny of all people! Johnny who lost a surf board, an iPod, and a cellphone and who remained charming and smiling throughout it all. Namaste, Johnny! I really do miss you. Thanks for being so charming and so lovely after having been robbed a few times in Nosara. The light in me truly does bow down to the light in you.
I send love to you all. I'll keep you updated here.
And here's a photo of Austin for the road. Thanks to Dena for e-mailing some photos out today. I've uploaded them to a Flickr site for practice (I'm new to this.) You can find those photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/jenndieu
I like this one of Austin. Nice smile. It looks to me as if he's got his MoJo back! Cheers to you, Austin.
Namaste,
Jennie
