It's Alice!

Hello everyone!

So I'm sitting here at Jim and Mary's house in Northglenn, Colo. My Dad is playing the role of Alice's personal mechanic and making sure the antifreeze in the Taurus has a -34 F freeze point. Right as I'm starting to get super frustrated by the incredible SLOWNESS of their computer (still using dial-up at the Mogck household), the blog finally opened - totally changed my evening. I've been glued to the screen and laughing out loud for over 45 minutes now (again, dial-up). I really do miss you all so much.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one walking around in a bit of a lala land. With no real structure here at home, the "real world" has consisted of trying to set up private lessons (3 clients and counting) and (mostly) being my own housewife - made some excellent fried chicken, knitting a scarf, painting the kitchen, reorganizing the bathroom (damn, I own a lot of girl stuff - how many different soaps can one person possibly need?), decorating the house for Christmas, etc. I've also been trying to hide my post NYI arm muscles from my landlord so that he will believe me when I describe myself as "a little girl that wasn't built for shoveling sidewalks," so far this whining has not produced the desired effect - bastard.

It would be nice to see you all on the beach tomorrow. :-(
