hey everyone:
it has been great to read your posts...it's funny how everyone's personality comes out in their writing...i've been tripping out on that a little...anyhow, all here is well. I got a job teaching yoga at a retreat center called Pura Vida. It's close to San Jose. I am really excited because it is a pretty amazing place and I feel really lucky to be able to teach there just getting out of the teacher training. I am so intimidated by the whole thing, though, and completely humbled by the fact that I am teaching yoga, but i guess if it's happening it needs to be happening (at least that is what i tell myself). I listen to the aja kay song and pretend i am singing with all of you to get the nerves each time, but i hope that each day i will feel more at ease with it. I might also work there in the reception, but i am still not sure. A lot of really amazing teachers come and do retreats there...you guys should check it out and come down to visit! the website is www.puravidaspa.com. I am also teaching other people yoga at some other spa...i was so convinced i was not going to teach yoga and that is the only type of work i seem to be getting...it's amazing.
